Curbs Considers West Ham's Start

Alan Curbishley, on the West Ham official site, is disappointed with only four points from the opening three games,

"We're a bit disappointed but, then again, we're only at the start of a long season and we certainly don't expect to be in the bottom three again this year. Here at West Ham we want to have a solid, mid-table season so that we can then build some foundations that will enable us to push on next year.

"Alongside Dean Ashton, we've also got Scott Parker, Freddie Ljungberg and Julien Faubert to come back and once we get a settled side, things will be different."
