West Ham Make Shorey Bid

According to The Sun West Ham have made a £5 million bid for Reading left-back Nicky Shorey. The paper claim Curbishley has been tracking Shorey for weeks but waited until yesterday to make his first bid.

Reading rejected the offer but West Ham will not give up and are confident he will be playing against Reading at the weekend.
