Curbs on Board at West Ham

Most of the media are reporting today that Alan Curbishley is in agreement with the club over the appointment of a technical director at West Ham. Curbishley doesn't seem to be saying any more than was said at the weekend, namely;

he has been consulted at all stages
he is helping to define the role / write the job description
recruitment of players will still be down to him and the scouts.

West Ham have been rumoured to be keen on appointing a foreign technical director which makes you wonder about the last point. There have been rumours that the club wants someone who has more knowledge of foreign players. So Curbishley may find he has a little more help with recruitment than he thinks.
