West Ham's Ashton Out of England Squad

The FA have confirmed today that Dean Ashton has been withdrawn from the England squad. Speaking on the official site West Ham manager Alan Curbishley had this to say about the injury,

"Dean Ashton has tweaked his medial ligament and I'd imagine that a comeback within a week or a fortnight is looking tight."
