West Ham's Upson Hopeful for England

Matthew Upson, like Robert Green, although he has been in excellent form for West Ham had been ignored by McClaren for the England team. Even though Ferdinand and Terry were unavailable for England's last two internationals McClaren stil decided to ignore the West Ham defender.

Upson however is now hopeful that a new England manager may revive his international chances,

"I hope they will wipe the slate clean and give everyone the opportunity."

PhysioRoom.com says B Zamora has a knee injury and is expected back 1st Dec 07.

Mind you I have had suspicions about Zamora. I think he was subbed in his last game and didn't look happy.
