West Ham vs Man City
Lucas Neil is expected to be available again after his hamstring injury. Otherwise West Ham's starting line up is likely to be the same as last Saturday, although Curbishley has talked about changing things around.
Ljungberg's performance against Fulham should see him get the nod in front of Faubert. Curbishley has hinted that the French winger has impressed in training but is still not ready for the starting eleven,
"It was probably a little bit too early on Saturday, but I decided to give it a go because I felt if he got 20 minutes, he could change the game - but I have got to be a little bit careful with him," the West Ham manager said.
He has joined in training the last couple of weeks and some of the players hadn't seen him."
"He's come into training and they have had a good look at him and they have all been asking 'when's he going to be fit'?"
In the end Faubert was only given about a minute at the very end of Saturday's game. I expect he might get a little longer in the second half today.
Curbishley has hinted that there might be changes elsewhere,
"We are playing City again on Sunday, so I have got to shake it up a bit and see where we come out. The back five have played all the football. I will have to look at that."
Presuming that Curbishley isn't going to drop Green that might mean a rest for Upson or McCartney in either the next two games. Curbishley seems to have targeted cup competitions this year as the club's best shot at qualifying for Europe so he may well decide to change things around on Sunday rather than today.
