West Ham Offer Nani Job

According to The Times West Ham have offered the job of technical director to Brescia general manager Gianluca Nani. The paper claim he is likely to accept the role.

The Times say Nani will be responsible for overseeing the development of the proposed new stadium and the move to a better-equipped training facility, as well as finding players and conducting transfers.

Alan Curbishley was part of the interview process so the club hope to avoid some of the clashes between first team managers and technical directors that have been seen elsewhere. Nani comes with a reputation of being a tough negotiator with an extensive knowledge of players in South American football.

this looks a positive move if it comes off- the club needs it if it is to progress

I have never heard of him but it sounds very good and I am sure BG & AC will get the right man and after this we may get some news on the new stadium!
