West Ham Bid for Watson

Sky Sports claim West Ham have made an offer for Crystal Palace's Ben Watson. Sky say that Middlesbrough agreed a fee with Palace for Watson on Wednesday but that news of Boro's bid being accepted has triggered interest from West Ham, Fulham, Blackburn and Wigan.

Sky say that Watson is now expected to listen to what is available from the five clubs before deciding where he will go.

West Ham have obviously been outbid for Watson because Neill Warnock has confirmed they have accepted another offer for the player and that it isn't from West Ham or Fulham.

Reports are suggesting that Wolves are close to completing the loan signing of Nigel Quashie, where he would join fellow West Ham loanee Kyel Reid. Quashie has just come back from a two month loan spell with Birmingham.
