West Ham 3 Fulham 1

The first half was all about West Ham players, past and present (and partly about one who didn't turn up). The first of the ex-Hammers to make an impression was Pantsil. Seven minutes into this game Pantsil tried to chest a ball back to his own keeper and Di Michele nipped in, rounded the keeper and scored.

West Ham then looked comfortable and even looked like they might extend their lead until Konchesky scored from a stunning 30 yard effort that flew straight into the top left corner of the goal.

Apart from a late cynical foul by Pantsil on Ilunga, for which he was booked, there wasn't much else of excitement in the first half.

In the second half Fulham were looking comfortable and were even beginning to dominate play when in the 58th minute the ball was pumped long by West Ham. Konchesky had an age to clear the ball but dawdled on the ball. Cole nicked the ball off his toes, ran into the box where Konchesky brought him, down. Noble smashed the ball into the back of the net, with Shwarzer diving the wrong way.

In the 62nd minute Cole lashed a shot just wide of the left hand post from 35 yards. West Ham then took control of the game. In the 75th minute Collison intercepted a Fulham pass in his own half, passed quickly to Di Michele, Di Michele then picked out Cole's run into the area and Cole slotted home from 10 yards.

So Di Michele scored one and set up another. Bellamy on the other hand wants to leave a club eighth in the league for the team right at the bottom - mug.
