West Ham Defence Against FA

Finally West Ham have begun to use the media in defence of the endless propaganda campaign waged by Sheffield Utd. Today's News of the World publishes a number of documents which show how West Ham terminated the controversial third party agreement with Carlos Tevez.

Of course they do not prove that West Ham did not then give 'oral cuddles' to MSI claiming that they would hold to the original agreement. What I don't understand is when exactly 'oral cuddles' become a valid agreement under contract law.
