Newcastle Bid for Neill

It is being widely reported that Newcastle are about to launch a £2 million bid for West Ham captain Lucas Neill.

Neill has just six months left on his contract and is reportedly one of the highest earners at the club so any bid might prove tempting.

Kyel Reid has joined Wolverhampton Wanderers until the end of the season. Reid has only just returned from a loan spell at Blackpool, where he made seven appearances.
