Bellamy Offered a New Contract

So far there seems to have been little official response from West Ham to the rumour that Craig Bellamy has handed in a transfer request.

However Setanta say that a West Ham spokesperson has said,

"We can confirm that Craig Bellamy has been offered a new contract. We can also confirm that he has no permission to talk to other clubs, including Spurs and Manchester City."

So not exactly a denial that Bellamy has asked for a move.
