Dirty 'Arry's Game

It is about time the FA and the Premier League acted against the blatent tapping up being carried out by Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs have already annoyed Portsmouth, Middlesbrough and Sunderland this month with moves for their players but in tapping up Bellamy Tottenham have gone way beyond just bending the rules.

Despite being told that Craig Bellamy was not for sale Tottenham held a meeting with Bellamy on Thursday afternoon, according to The Mail (Thursday evening according to The Independent). When Bellamy was subsequently told by West Ham he did not have permission to talk to other clubs he then stormed out of training and, it is rumoured, is now refusing to play for the club.

Harry Redknapp claims he is innocent of tapping up Bellamy,

"I haven't done anything wrong. If Craig Bellamy says he wants to go to Tottenham because someone has told him we've made an offer then that's up to him. It's not my fault."

However holding a meeting with another team's player is about as clear a case of tapping-up as you can get. For the player then to refuse to play for his current club is very, very suspicious. I wonder where that idea came from Harry?

Now let's see how quickly the Premier League launch their investigation into Tottenham Hotspur.

Shame we've got no money. I would love to stick him in the stands then see if anyone remembers him in the summer. Hope Spurs don't get relegated, it should be entertaining when Dirty Arry and Defoe arrive at UP next year

Why are there contracts in football?
A player can go on strike because they choose not to fulfill their obligation. That sounds like a breach of contract. Why don't West Ham sue? Everybody's suing us, why not sue? It seems the thing to do this season. A spoiled footballer goes on strike, makes a mockery of people who really need to strike.

No player is bigger than the Club. No player!
We are WEST HAM UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB and we demand our 100% when you put on the claret and blue.

If a ANY squad member is a cancer, send the disease to the Sp#rs and let it rot their dressing room.
CUM ON U IRONS!!!
