Parker for England

Gianfranco Zola says that West Ham midfielder Scott parker is good enough to play for England,

"If he performs the way he has been performing week in week out with the same intelligence and determination then he can get a more regular place in the international side.

"It's like Robert Green, who kept performing well until he got back in. I'm sure the same thing can happen with Scott Parker. Capello picked three West Ham players (against Spain) so it means he is keeping an eye on West Ham "


Jimmy Walker is being forced to return to West Ham later this week. Colchester United wished to extend his loan at the club but failed to submit the necessary paperwork on time to the Football League. The League are therefore insisting that he can't play for Colchester.
