West Ham in for Diamanti

Livorno president Aldo Spinelli says West Ham are interested in signing forward Alessandro Diamanti. It sounds like Diamanti wants to move to West Ham and that Spinelli believes a deal is possible.

"We have requests from England - mainly from West Ham - even if we do not consider them satisfactory. However the player wants to go to London; for him, the gains would be substantial.

"His value is around €10million, but the figure West Ham have offered is not a problem. If they seriously want Diamanti, they could be accommodated."
