Spector Offered to Sp@rs
The Daily Mirror say that despite Scott Duxbury's claim in January that West Ham would not sell players to Sp@rs, yesterday the club offered Spector to Harry Redknapp.
They also claim that Mattew Upson turned down an £8m move to Fiorentina.

Oh .so now we re so long of defenders,knowing that we were going to sell Collins ,and knowing that Ilunga was injured,that we cud afford to lose Spector as well?
Gee that makes loads of sense. These idiots are made for each other. Meaning the gutter press and West Ham s current "owners."
I am not a fan of Duxbury (Do not trust him) but to be honest Spector is not first team standard so losing him to the spuds wouldnt have been a great loss......Think we made a mistake in selling Collins cos hes a good player....but seems as if one or two may have to leave due to financial reasons (not noble, collison, green, parker, etc ...hopefully) IRONS ! IRONS! (TURTLE MAN / E6)
You need cover for when your " first team" players get hurt,as Ilunga did. Which is why u can t go offloading players left,right and center. Had we sold Spector,exactly who was going to fill that spot until Ilunga is fit again?
I trust Duxbury a lot more than i trust the Mirror, in fact i think the man will prove to be one of our better servants.
yeah after them interviews a couple of months back now i have a new found respect for Duxbury.
He give a lot more info than he ever needed to, to many sources and was more open and honest than any anyone ive every seen in football related interviews!
Yes ok on the surface Duxbury seems to be telling the truth but I still have doubts of his role generally and in the whole tevez sage.....and yes tabloid papers can not be trusted but most MDs and chief exec cant either....(my opinion). And as for us needing to keep players for cover i agree....but surely the aim is to have a good standard of cover, i feel that Spector is not up to that standard......(TURTLE MAN E6)
