Intermarket Claim They Are Serious

Intermarket say they have proved to Rothschilds that they have the funds to make an offer for West Ham.

David Byrne, Intermarket's company secretary, says,

"Some people were dismissing us as not being serious bidders but we are. We have satisfied them [Rothschilds] that we have proof of funds."

Intermarket's valuation of West Ham at £100 million mean that the present owners would only receive about £30 million. This presumably means that any offer will be turned down.

Intermarket remain hopeful however and say they are keen to try and finalise a deal before Dec 11th.
