News of the World West Ham Special

The News of the World claim that amongst the financial shocks faced by David Sullivan when he got a chance to look at West Ham's books was that technical director Gianluca Nani was being paid £300,000 a year and that two full-time club doctors earned a combined salary of £400,000.

The NoW say that Nani and the two doctors will be be axed.

The NoW say that now that Ruud van Nistlerooy has signed for Hamburg West Ham will target Madrid's Jan Huntelaar, Benni McCarthy of Blackburn, Manchester City's Benjani and Crystal Palace's Victor Moses. They are also after Eidur Gudjohnsen on a loan deal until the end of the season.

The NoW also claim that West Ham are suspending Calum Davenport's wages because he may have been in breach of contract when he was attacked last August.

Finally the paper says that Sp~rs have offered Robbie Keane in part exchange for Carlton Cole and that West Ham will sell Behrami to Man City if they offer £10 million.
