Henry to Snub West Ham

The Daily Mirror claim that World Cup flop Thierry Henry is set to reject West Ham and sign for the New York Red Bulls.

The Newham Recorder say that West Ham have turned their attentions to Christian 'Chucho' Benitez after a second bid for Yakubu was turned down by Everton. The 24-year-old Ecuador international, scored four goals in 36 games on loan for Birmingham last season. He is now back at Mexican club Santos Laguna.

Elsewhere there are rumours that ex-West Ham manager Alan Curbishley is on a short-list for (a job that doesn't exist) the Fulham manager's job. With Hodgson rumoured to be moving to Liverpool.
