West Ham Injury Update

TalkSport claim that Thomas Hitzlsperger is still two weeks away from full fitness and will miss the Chelsea game.

Danny Gabbidon has responded to another Twitter user's enquiry about his hamstring injury by saying "it won't be too long mate it's not too bad."

If you use Twitter you might also like to follow Jack Collison. Collison, responding to a fan's enquiry about how soon Hines will be fit, said that "he starts running in the next few weeks.. So soon we hope!"

I was always really sceptical about twitter but following Gabbidon is actually really amusing. Most of it is nonsense (eg Collison locking himself out of his house) but funny nonetheless.

I am waiting for one of them to slip up and do a Darren Bent-esqe faux pas.

There was a report in one of the newspapers about Gabbidon criticising the fans in one of his Tweets after another West Ham loss.

He had actually criticised the team and was praising the fans but a misplaced comma made it sound like he was attacking the fans. Apparently he got hundreds of angry replies from his followers and spent a long time apologising for the error.
