Der Hammer Resumes Training

TalkSport say that Thomas Hitzlsperger has begun light training after his injury. West Ham now hope he will be back in action by the end of October.

West Ham physio Andy Rolls said,

"We knew this was a serious problem with his thigh muscle, which undergoes a lot of strain with the way he kicks the ball.

"Thomas continues to work hard in order to return as soon as possible. He has been working outside with the fitness coaches and has started kicking a ball again. He has a few steps to go before he is fully available."

Manchester City goalkeeper Stuart Taylor says he nearly moved to West Ham in the summer. Sky Sports say however that Roberto Mancini persuaded him to stay at the last minute.

UK Athletics has confirmed its formal support for the West Ham and Newham Council joint bid to take over the Olympic Stadium.

UKA, the governing body for the number one Olympic and Paralympic sport, has worked closely with a number of the bidding parties, but has taken the decision to align with the West Ham proposal as the sport's preferred bidders.

Goal.com says Sp#rs 24 year old midfielder Jamie O’Hara has lined up a move to West Ham United and hopes to make the move in January.

Honestly, I'm starting to wonder if it's really Kier doing it to generate pageviews. Don't get me wrong, I'd come here anyway for the straightforward and honest commentary...but there's still that little thrill when I see there are comments at the story and I wonder "what has the nutter got to say about this?". What is it about mental illness on the internet that just keeps you coming back for more?

I think there's more than one nutter. There's the deluded 'Keir, you hate Zamora' obsessive nutcase and then there's the weirdo above.
Both extremely irritating but compulsive at the same time. Tip my hat to Mr Clark for his patience.

Both are weirdos! nevermind! back too football!!!!!

Good timing for Hitz to be back in contention, hopefully a 3 pointer against wolves and then move on and up. Hitz will bring more stability and a natural lefty to the team, with an awesome shot on him, something we are lacking at the moment. i think things are looking good.
And at least cole had the bottle to admit he has to do something about his form. it shows alot of courage to do that, and i for one look forward to see him back on top form, scoring for us.
