West Ham Sign Ba

The official West Ham website has announced the signing of Demba Ba on a permanent contract until June 2014.

The 25-year-old joins from Hoffenheim, for whom he netted 40 in 103 appearances over the past three-and-a-half seasons. As ever these days the fee West Ham paid is undisclosed, although the West Ham website says that Ba's wages will be heavily dependent on appearances.

The West Ham website also says that, "the club are aiming to further strengthen the squad before Monday night's deadline."

How does this leave our squad of 25. Does anyone "have to leave"?
