Hines Rejects West Ham Contract

Zavon Hines has turned down West Ham's latest contract offer. Whilst I obviously don't know the details of the offer made to the 22 year old striker it seems to me he is playing a dangerous game.

Zines hardly impressed last season in a relegated team. I can't see any clubs bigger than West Ham rushing to sign him up. West Ham seem to be his best chance of getting first team football and furthering his career, so I would think he hasn't got much of a bargaining position.

Kumb are reporting that West Ham expect to sign an experienced defender in the next 24 hours, with another player to be signed within days.

I would let Hines go. Its not as if he is that good, and certainly not good enough for Premiership footy if that's what he thinks.... We could get a better player than him for not much dosh.... Cya Zavon...

Still remember him making a fool of Carragher, and others with his pace. Trouble was he then started getting clogged to slow him down. If fully fit he should be too quick for the lumps in Div 2 so should be worth a go. However if he is now being offered 50% of not a (comparative) lot following relegation can see why he wants away.

end of the day id rather keep him and save the money for much needed other things, whilst in this league he would get game time and maybe become a better player, same with all our youngsters this is there chance to step it up and show people what they can do. . . in the premier league they wernt getting any game time and when they did it wasnt there best because they havent got enough league practice !

BIG_P!

Zavon Hines represents everything that is wrong with West Ham at the moment. Overpaid players with over-inflated opinions of themselves. This kid,and kid is exactly what he is,did absolutely NOTHING to help us avoid relegation. He is lazy and is a complainer. This guy would not deserve improved terms even if we were not relegated, and certainly not whilst we are in the Championship.

Where is this guy capable of playing in the Premier League? At best a bottom six side, and even then, not as a starter. A greedy under-achiever who thinks that the world owes him a living.

Get rid. We do not need players with this type of attitude. The rebuild at the club starts with getting rid of every piece of filth on our books, and he is a great person to begin the extermination with

We need more players with the attitude of Gary O'Neill- not morons like Hines.
