Campbell, Gradel & Cole

West Ham and QPR are rumoured to be talking to DJ Campbell after both clubs agreed to to pay his £1.25m escape clause with Blackpool.

West Ham are also said to be in talks with Peterborough striker Craig Mackail-Smith, 27, over a £3m switch. Although The Mirror claim he is likely to sign for Leicester today.

The Sun say West Ham and Fulham are both chasing Leeds winger Max Gradel.

Going the other way Faubert is being linked with a move to Lazio. Whilst Stoke have been told to up their offer of £3 million for Carlton Cole.

the best news would be sending faubert to lazio. For a start, getting this guy off the wage books is essential, and obviously any transfer fee, even a small one ,would be useful. Probably Curbishley's duffest purchase. The guy never showed any sign of being able to cope with the Premiership.

Faubert came on right at the end of the match at Highbury last season, which we were drawing after 87 minutes, and proceeded to get skinned and concede the winner that denied us an important point and soem much needed confidence.

There is a long list of characters who under-performed last season to cause our relegation and he would be right near the top of that list.

Get rid of the foreign mercenaries ,and bring in young British players who are 100 per cent committed.

Kovac. Faubert. DA ROASTA. Hitzlsperger. Ilunga . Behrami. Failure after failure.
GOOD RIDDANCE.
