West Ham Chase Ngog

The Sum claim West Ham are keen on signing Liverpool's David Ngog. However the paper also say that West Ham are unwilling to match Liverpool's £5.5million valuation of the striker nor the player's wage demands - so not that keen then.

Jonathan Spector has signed for Birmingham on a free contract. Spector has signed a two year contract with the club.

West Ham defender Jordan Spence is set for another loan spell at Bristol City. Spence also spent tow months on loan at Bristol City last season.

Spence should be staying put. He is a good young player who can contribute a lot to West Ham right here, right now. It is a mistake to send him out on loan. Just as it was a mistake to let Spector walk. Spector would have been very useful to us in getting promotion. The new signings have been good, and most of the departures have been sensible. But the club is now overstepping the mark with Spector and Boa Morte gone and Spence headed out on loan.

The idea is not to create a team that can compete in the Premier League. The idea is to win promotion first ,THEN worry about surviving in the top flight. Letting go of certain players who might do well for us in the Championship, but not necessarily in the top flight is a mistake

Spector was so bad he played well against Manchester United and alright against birmingham i add in MIDFIELD, remember when zola was in charge he was at fault for the majority of the goals when he played in defence don't need him and we offered him a new contract which he didn't want so good riddance. Boa Morte has also been awful the past 4 and a half years he could never make a pass, shoot or deliver a decent cross hence why we signed matt taylor. Spence isn't ready yet another loan is just what he needs we have faubert and joey obrien for right back so we don't need a youngster that isn't going to play. I think you need to learn abit more about football before you make a ridiculous statement like that

I agree. Bm was the worst player in the prem( except perhaps harewood) and Spector was awful. Ngog? Do me a favour,

Spector and Boa morte aren't even good enough for the championship! Let alone premier league. As for Ngog, he's no different to picquionne. We need someone thats a proven goalscorer at this level that can fire 20 + goals. Long is a bit pricey at 8mil but its worth it if he can get us promoted.

Really hope Parker stays. Cant help thinking the latest rumour that he is now happy to stay with WH is just a ploy to get Rednapp to make another play for him

Redknapp is a right Del Boy. Lets face it though - You pay for what you get.

He wont be getting Parker on the cheap and I really cant see the board or Big Sam letting this happen either.

Tottenham dont really require a CM anyway, they have Huddlestone, Modric, Niko, Aaron, Bale, Sandro, Jenas blah blah blah....

Which leaves his only destination on those interested is Villa, who lets face it have the money and COULD do with a bright spark in their midfield.

I just hope, if this happens, Parker realises there is only one Claret and Blue.

27 Days to go and at least we will have him until January.

Spacemoney.

Specs was a donkey. He was destroyed for pace every time I saw him play in defence. BM was atrocious; headless chicken and you never knew when he might be red carded. David Ngog would also be a high price failure. 'Can't score goals' has to go which is a shame as he always had potential. He has been lazy wherever he has played; Chelsea Charlton etc, and squandered his talent. Carew arriving has sealed his leaving.
