Macherano Leaving West Ham

FIFA have finally agreed that to relax their 'three club' rule for Javier Mascherano. Rafa Benitez has revealed that,

"We have an agreement to take him on loan for 18 months then we have an option to sign him permanently. He is a top class player and the only question is whether he can play to his level in England. But I know he can play a lot better than he did at West Ham."

Mascherano made just three starts for West Ham as Alan Pardew and Alan Curbishley, for whatever reason, chose to leave him out of the team. This sorry episode was presumably caused by ex-West Ham chairman Terence Brown signing/loaning the player on some ridiculous contract.

Good luck Javier and, a word to the wise mate, get yourself a different agent.
