West Ham Deny Barnes Bid
The Daily Mirror today claimed that West Ham were poised to "snap up Derby teenager Giles Barnes for £3.5million when the Rams are relegated."
Alan Curbishley however was quick to deny that the club were after Barnes.
"There's no truth in that," Curbishley told Sky Sports. "There are lots of players out there that we like, but there's no truth in that newspaper article."

yet another,among may recent examples ,of tabloids concocting absolute nonsense about potential west ham transfer business. do these third rate rags not comprehend that if anything, it s a striker we need,not a defender or midfielder?
