West Ham Sunday Gossip

The Daily Mail say that Bjorgolfur Gudmundsson has privately admitted in the last 24 hours that West Ham is up for sale. However considering the fact that The Daily Mail is the official mouthpiece for Sheffield United's lies I strongly suspect that The Mail is the last paper that Gudmundsson would speak privately to.

The Daily Mirror claim that Indian tycoon Anil Ambani is in no rush to buy West Ham. A 'source close to Ambani' (in other words invented by The Mirror) said,

He is in no immediate rush to make a move for West Ham given their present financial plight. As things stand he believes the club is overpriced and will eventually be forced to sell for a great deal less than the current asking price.

The News of the World believe that West Ham have a month to find a buyer or they face the htreat of administration. The paper claim that brokers Seymour Pierce are in contact with a prospective buyer who is said to be “cash rich” and wants to buy.

An 'Upton Park insider' (inside Rob Shepherd's imagination) says,

“We’ve been told there is somebody waiting to buy but also that it has to happen quickly or the club is in a desperate situation.”

The news of the world aswell as the Daily snail are both pathetic newspapers. The jokes inside a christams cracker are more reliable than those toilet rolls.
