Neill Demands West Ham Pay Rise

According to The Times Lucas Neill has apparently asked West Ham for more than his present £70,000 a week wages to sign a new contract.

The Times say that West Ham will offer Neill no more than £30,000 a week and if he rejects the terms he will be allowed to leave on a free transfer next summer. Neill, who turned down the chance to play for Liverpool because West Ham offered higher wages, will presumably refuse any attempt to sell him in January and will hold out for the free transfer.

As a school boy i am 50 now i would have given anything to play for the team i love,to pull on the colours that bobby moore and his like played in would have been a dream come true and an honour.
w*****s like Neill should think them self privaleged to tread the same turf as players like bobby.
get rid of the p***k in january.
give his shirt to one of the youngsters at least they will have a sense of pride when they pull it on.
west ham till i die

no need for the foul language... he's just doing what all players do today: fleece the club. don't take it personally!

Neill's a carthorse that turns attack into defense , The worry is that the manager doesnt see this !, as well as not seeing how crap Mullins and Cole are
