Valon's Season Over for West Ham

Valon Behrami has told the Swiss media that he will not play again this season.

"The season has gone for me," he told Swiss newspaper Blick. "I must now wait 48 hours until I know whether or not cruciate ligament surgery is required. It is very bad."


The Daily Mail say that West Ham owner Bjorgolfur Gudmundsson has held talk with five potential buyers ahead of his court date in Iceland on Friday when the club’s holding company, Hansa, could be put into insolvency.

Gumundsson will ask for a three month extension from the courts. No decision from the court is expected until next week. According to The Mail, "Club sources insist any ruling will not affect the sale although negotiations with interested parties are believed to have been stepped up in recent weeks."
