Nani Sacked

The Times are reporting today that Gianluca Nani has been sacked as technical director of West Ham.

During Nani's two year reign at West Ham his one successful signing seems to have been Valon Behrami. However Nani will probably be remembered more for his signing of Savio for a large fee and big promises about his future, only to see the player have little impact and soon return to Italy.

Since the club were taken over in January joint chairman David Sullivan has taken a more active role in player transfers. The result of which seemed to leave Nani with no real role at the club.
