Nolan and Gardner to Sign Tomorrow

The West Ham website says that the club hope to announce two new signings in the next 24 hours. The club say that "both prospective arrivals are proven Premier League players".

Most of the newspapers are claiming that one of those players will be Kevin Nolan. The Independent say that Nolan will be unveiled tomorrow as the new West Ham captain.

The other player is believed to be Bolton left-back Ricardo Gardner who is available on a free contract.

If these are signings are confirmed then Sam Allardyce will be well on his way to reforming the Bolton team of 2006/2007, with the signing of Faye having already been completed.

So what if it is the Bolton side of 2006/7, you ask any actual west ham supporter, and I mean supporter, not one of those that p**s and moan at everything, what we need is leadership, brute force and pace, hmmmmm and seen as Nolan, Faye and Gardner
are exactly that, what else do you want Big Sam to do

Exactly right. We need strength ,leadership and testicles to win promotion. These are all excellent signings ,and exactly what is needed to combine with our young talent.

We need people who want to be here. Not people who jump ship when they were partly responsible for our relegation (hitzlsperger especially).

Anyone complaining at these signings needs to get a grip.

Who is complaining?

I'm just pointing out that we have now signed three players from Sam Allardyce's 2006/7 Bolton team.
