Robert Green for West Ham?

Rumours have been circulating that West Ham are interested in Norwich goalkeeper Robert Green. Green, who injured himself in an England friendly just before the world cup, has apparently come through a successful operation and is back in light training.

In exchange, Pardew is rumoured to be offering defender Clive Clarke and midfielder Mark Noble.

Two things about this rumour don't ring true. One - West Ham are believed to have pulled out of signing Charlton's Young because he failed a medical, so it is unlikely that they will gamble on Green's recovery. Two - Pardew has called Noble 'the future of West Ham' and is the kind of young homegrown talent the club has now promised to hold onto.
