West Ham in for SWP?

A rumour that was circulating on a few, not particularly reliable sites, this morning has now been picked up by ITV.com and Sporting Life so there may be some truth to it. Apparently West Ham are interested in taking Shaun Wright-Philips on a year long loan. Wright-Philips has been languishing in the reserves at Chelski and was disappointed in missing out on the World Cup so you would think the opportunity for first team football would be attractive. However SWP has recently stated that Mourinho has promised him a bigger role this season and that he wished to remain at Stamford Bridge. Also if Wright-Philips is available for loan there would presumably be interest from a number of Premiership clubs.

I think its time for Ian Wright to advise his son.
