West Ham vs Watford

A nice home game against the Premiership whipping boys should see West Ham through to the next round. Curbishley changed the squad around for West Ham's previous FA Cup outing against Brighton but since that game he seems to have decided on who he trusts. However with defensive injuries and Harewood suspended Curbishley will be forced to make some changes.

At the back Gabbidon and Collins are injured and Davenport is cup-tied. Anton Ferdinand is also a doubt after suffering a calf injury. Up front Harewood is suspended. Therefore it seems almost certain that Blanco and Neill will make their débuts for West Ham.

West Ham have an excellent record against Watford having won 18 of the last 21 meetings in all competitions and Watford's abysmal away record this season rivals West Ham's. This game should ensure that West Ham extend their unbeaten run to four games and set us up nicely for the more important Premiership games to come.

There are only two all Premiership ties in the FA Cup this round so you would think that the West Ham game would be chosen as one of the three live games shown by the BBC, especially after West Ham's participation in last year's 'best final for decades' clash. However if you thought that you would be wrong!

Live commentary is available on BBC London 94.9FM, 765 Medium Wave and via the internet (in the UK)
