West Ham News Round-Up

In the Daily Mail Bobby Zamora predicts a tough time for Sp@~s and a European place for West Ham,

"Spurs are on a slippery slope and having a bit of a tough time at the moment. Tottenham are in the situation we found ourselves in last year and I can tell you that when you get into a bad run like that it is very hard to get out of it.

Last year was just a blip and we have a great squad and I'm sure we will crack on and do well. Europe is definitely a target and we can achieve it by winning a cup or finishing in the top six."

The Daily Mail also report that Pantsil is happy to play in midfield for West Ham.

In The Daily Star Frank Lampard pays his usually respect to the people who pay his wages, "... you don’t take notice of what someone wants to say about you (who)... is just a fan.”

Setanta cut and paste the official site's injury update for Faubert and come to the wild conclusion that he is close to his début. Faubert has only just begun running again, so his début is some way off yet.

Elsewhere Pantsil and Wright have been talking about how pleased they were to play this week and Bowyer praises Spector's midweek performance in midfield and Cole's recent performances.
