West Ham get Tough on Fitness

The official website has announced a number of appointments to the medical team at West Ham.

Nikos Tzouroudis has been appointed chief medical officer. He has worked for several leading European clubs including Panathinakos, Fiorentina, Verona and Steaua Bucharest. Tzouroudis role will be to take a strategic overview of operations.

The club have also appointed a leading osteopath from Italy, Marco Cesarini and rehabilitation physiotherapist Giorgio Gasparini.

Well, let's hope it makes a difference. Would be nice to see players earning their salaries this season.
