Ashton's Illness

Alan Curbishley says that Dean Ashton trained on Friday after an 'illness',

"We are hoping over the weekend that he gets his strength back up and he can play. (on Monday against Ipswich)" .

Curbishley also acknowledged that West Ham's passing could have been better. It certainly seems that when Parker and Mullins partner up in midfield West Ham have a problem linking the play from the defence to the attack and seem to end up hoofing the ball forward.
