West Ham News Round-Up

Yesterday a West Ham team featuring Freddie Sears and Matthew Upson beat Thorruck by three goals. West Ham's goals came from a Zavon Hines penalty, a second half shot from Sears and an own goal by Thorruck's Young.

The Daily Mail continue to link West Ham with Palermo's Mark Bresciano. They say that West Ham, Blackburn and Fulham are all after the Australian midfielder who is available for £5m.

For those wondering where Craig Bellamy was during the MLS ALL Stars game it appears that he didn't like the artificial surface at the BMO Field and didn't want to risk an injury.

Nolberto Solano seems not to have much sympathy with Robert Green. When asked about Green's £20,000 a week salary Solano replied,

"The figures may be speculation, but it not bad for a goalkeeper. He had a chance to get more last year (when he signed a new deal)"

Solano is currently considering offers from Southampton, Norwich City and LA Galaxy.
