West Ham Not for Sale

West Ham appear to be using today's Independent to try and allay fears that the club is facing financial meltdown. The Independent says that,

"West Ham are furious at suggestions they face the threat of administration because of the economic crisis."

The club deny weekend reports that the the investment house Seymour Pierce has been appointed to sell West Ham. They also say that Gudmundsson has restated that he has no intention to sell the club.

West Ham are said to be annoyed that they have been deemed a crisis club and claim that they have worked hard to control spending and the excessive once wage bill.
