Grant & Ben Haim Absent from Stoke Game

The West Ham official website has confirmed that Avram Grant and Tal Ben Haim will both be absent from the Stoke game because of their religious observance of Yom Kippur.

Grant will pick the side as usual but the West Ham bench will consist of Assistant manager Zeljko Petrovic, senior coach Paul Groves and first-team coach Kevin Keen. presumably that means that Petrovic will be in charge of team decisions during the game.

In other news Gabbidon has revealed to the world via Twitter that he is back in training today and hopes to be available for selection on Saturday.
