Grant Remains Positive

The Star claim that Liverpool are targeting Carlton Cole and Peter Crouch as January signings.

Avram Grant says West Ham can still avoid relegation,

"I don't want to talk about history, whether things are possible or not possible. We are not in a situation where we cannot do it - we can do it.

"We need to win games, we have deserved to win games and will try to do it in the next game. We are not yet in November, so we have time to do it. There are six or seven months until the end of the season.

Even if we were in this situation in April, I would not think it was the end of the world."

Very frustrating end to the game, but good performance, particularly from Green and Gabbidon I thought. Not looking good at the moment but I agree with Grant that there's no need to panic.

Message to the owner of the blog (Keir Clarke?) - I've linked to your blog from my twitter page (http://twitter.com/westhamutdnews) quite a few times. Do you want to be included in the news feed that comes out on the twitter page (and Facebook)?

It also includes KUMB, Bubbleview, Hammered! and the Offical Site. It means that whenever you post a new story it will automatically come out on twitter and Facebook. Let me know what you think, it would be great to have you on board.

COYI !

Think frustrating end to gud performance sums it up well. Of the first ten matches ,the two that have put us bottom are the home games vs fulham and Toon. We shud have had a minimum of 4 points from those two fixtures and came away with one.

The run of fixtures beginning next week is the acid test. It is in our hands. Watching a bit of Newcastle-Sunderland,it was clear that there are some very mediocre teams in the division. If we don't get out of the hole we're in,we have only ourselves to blame. from 20th all the way through 8th place is littered with mediocrity. Rise above it,West Ham

Paul, I would be very interested in you doing that for my blog http://www.loveinthetimeofcollison.blogspot.com/ if it fits in with what you're tweeting.

Neil - Yours must be one of the few West Ham blogs I haven't seen :)

I don't want to put too much in the feed, I'm in danger of having masses of stuff coming out automatically, and I want to be sure of the sources before I let them automatically post to my twitter page.

I want to get a reply from Keir first, but I will certainly keep an eye on your blog and follow on twitter. Thanks for giving me a shout.

No problem Paul. My blog is more opinion than news, so possibly not suited to your feed, and yes it does look like you've got a lot in there already. Hope it's of interest to you nonetheless.

I am an admirer of Carlton Cole but at the end of the day the club is bigger than the player he hasnt done anything this season but a change of fortune is wat he mite need but can a club wait , especially the way our strikers r goin ,so at the end come january sell him and get a kid from hamberg elia eljero lightning quick skills and a great goal sence
