Zamora Back, Bellamy Not

Head physiotherapist George Cooper reports on the West Ham official site that Bobby Zamora is more or less back to full fitness but Craig Bellamy is likely to be out for a while.

"He (Zamora)is as strong as an ox now," said Cooper. "His legs are really good and he is in good nick. Bobby is always in early, has been working very hard and been very patient. It looks to have paid off. His running fitness is as good as anybody's at the club, if not better."

Craig Bellamy however is due to to have an abdominal strengthening operation that will put him out of first team contention for awhile. The official site doesn't mention how long so I suspect we may have seen the last Bellamy for this season.

Scott Parker however has "totally recovered from his posterior capsule rupture". The midfielder has started his running programme and could be back in full training in a fortnight.
