Green Not in Capello's Plans

Fabio Capello, speaking to an Italian radio station, has bemoaned the lack of goalkeeping options available to him,

“Only 38 percent of the players are English. The pool is reduced. I have had to reinstate a 37-year-old goalkeeper [James] but I have spotted one in the Under-21’s who is very interesting.”

Clearly Capello needs to watch a few more West Ham games.


Sky Sports News are reporting that Bellamy's latest operation is likely to keep him out of action for only six weeks. We may therefore see Bellamy back in action for West Ham before the season finishes.
